The unicorn theme 🦄

Yes — you can wear an iconic, inflatable giant unicorn costume.
And yes — it attracts a lot of attention.

– People come up to you.
– People want to take photos.
– People talk to you.

It makes fundraising significantly easier (and more fun).

BUT:
You’re not in the costume for hours on end.

Your entire shift:
approx. 3–4 hours

Time in the full costume:
approx. 30–60 minutes

Depending on:
– the weather
– how warm it gets
– how it feels for you

If it gets too hot or uncomfortable:
→ you step out of the costume immediately.
No pressure.

Also available:
✨ smaller unicorn accessories
✨ glitter
✨ make-up

So you can also go for unicorn vibes without the full costume.

You can do it as a team
You can apply together with:
– your demo bestie
– your favorite person
– your chaos partner in crime

Fundraising in a team is simply more fun.

– strengthen queer visibility
– enable political work
– build community
– become more independent from sponsorship funding

You’re not just attending the demonstration.
You’re helping make it happen in the first place.

What does it mean to be a fundraising unicorn?
As a donation unicorn, you’re right in the middle of the Berlin CSD, helping to collect donations for the Berliner CSD e.V.
With this, you don’t just support the demonstration itself, but also the political work, visibility, and community projects that take place all year round.
You help ensure that the CSD stays loud, visible, and independent.

What you actually do
You’re active wherever things are happening during the CSD:
– along the demonstration route
– in the middle of the crowd
– on trucks
– on stages
– at the final rally
You actively approach people, start conversations, and encourage them to support the CSD with a donation.

Donations are super easy to collect:
– cash
– digital via tap-to-pay
