Berliner CSD e.V. GoFundMe campaign started

2022 will be the 44th celebration of Berlin Pride!

As you may know, the Berlin CSD e.V. organizes the Berlin Pride March for Christopher Street Day every year (with a pandemic exception in 2020) with a lot of volunteer work. Dozens of people are already working for the sheer love of it, at CSD 2022, in the weeks leading up to the demo and on the day itself, hundreds more will join in.

With such a large event, however, there are still high costs for which our association must pay. In order to cover these costs, we are not only looking for advertising partners and sponsorship, but also need the support of the queer communities. For this purpose, we have now started a GoFundMe campaign.

Everyone should only give what they can give. Some of you can spend more without getting into trouble, while many others can only just manage financially from month-end to month-end. We know that.

At the Berlin CSD we all celebrate together the freedoms and acceptance we can enjoy here. We demonstrate for an ever more beautifully diversifying community and for global solidarity, this year especially with queer people who had to flee their homeland, from Ukraine and elsewhere.
