Drag city walk on homo history around the Nollendorfplatz by and with Gaby Tupper.
You can take part in a wide variety of city tours on special features of Berlin culture, neighborhoods or culinary preferences. And there are also knowledgeable guides to the LGBTIQ* community, its history and culture, in human form and in book form. In the fall of 2015, on the initiative of Kay P. Rinha, Gaby came up with a new concept to offer “not another”- Berlin tour: the musical “Kiez” walk!
Songs, literature, and gossip by or about Napoleon, Marlene, Karl-Heinrich, Judy, Magnus, Liza, Claire, Christopher and his, as well as the Nollendorfplatz, the Metropol Theater, and numerous queer stores in the surrounding area become the protagonists. Lesbian-gay history mixes with current tourism tips, I’ll name Berlin homo peculiarities next to international historical queer events and the commemoration of persecution of queer people and mourning over the victims of HIV and Aids turns into a proud-gay “I am what I am”.
The “Homo Lobby” says: A must for queers and recommended for straights!
