Under this year’s motto “Haltung ist hot.” (Taking a stand is hot.) we show together that queer visibility, democracy and solidarity are inseparably connected.

DAY 01Friday, 24 July
Democracy Evening · 6 pm to 11 pm
Friday, 24 July
Democracy Evening · 6 pm to 11 pmBerlin Pride opens entirely in the spirit of our democracy. From 6 pm we invite you to an evening that brings together politics, culture and music. Together with guests from politics, civil society and the community, we talk about why democracy is our strongest answer to hate and exclusion right now.
Because Haltung ist hot also means: go and vote, take responsibility and stand up together for an open society.

Soul of Stonewall Award
A special highlight of our stage programme this weekend is the presentation of the Soul of Stonewall Awards.
With their international work against social exclusion and multiple discrimination, the authors have shaped important social debates for many years, far beyond the queer community.

For their outstanding contribution to greater lesbian visibility in public space.

With their music and their social commitment, the two have moved people for decades.

More than a stage programme
Our stages are places of encounter, of culture and of political participation. This is where we dance, discuss, celebrate and take a stand.
Whether pop, electro, drag, political talks or community programme – we want to create a space where everyone feels welcome and where together we send a strong signal for freedom, diversity and democracy.
