Description
Join us for a powerful journey through the histories, struggles, and visions of Black and queer feminist movements. The Black & Queer Feminism Tour highlights voices and stories that have too often been marginalized, connecting historical sites with ongoing conversations about intersectionality, resistance, and collective liberation.
Inspired by the work and legacies of thinkers and activists such as May Ayim, Audre Lorde, and Ika Hügel-Marshall, the tour explores how Black feminist and queer perspectives have shaped social justice movements, community building, and cultural memory, particularly in Germany and beyond.
Together, we will reflect on the intersections of racism, sexism, and queerphobia, while honoring the resilience, creativity, and solidarity of those who have challenged these systems.
This tour invites participants to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue about belonging, empowerment, and radical imagination.
Whether you are already engaged with feminist and queer politics or are looking to discover new perspectives, this experience offers space for reflection, connection, and collective inspiration.
Open to everyone, especially welcoming Black, queer, and FLINTA* communities.
