Inclusion at CSD Berlin<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span>Berliner CSD e.V. is actively committed to inclusion. By inclusion, we mean enabling all people to participate in CSD Berlin and removing barriers.<\/span>

<\/span>Our goal is to create an inclusive community where we provide a platform for open exchange and support.<\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>For this reason, we have established an email address for all questions and suggestions relating to inclusion: inklusion@csd-berlin.de.<\/span>

<\/span>Here, you can ask questions about inclusion at CSD Berlin, report barriers, or submit suggestions for improvement. We firmly believe that your perspective and concerns help us improve, and we actively encourage your participation.<\/span>

<\/span>Your concerns are our concerns. Together, we can ensure that inclusion is lived in practice and that a strong community is built\u2014one that overcomes barriers and brings together people with and without disabilities.<\/span>

<\/span>This year, there will once again be wheelchair viewing platforms at Potsdamer Platz and Brandenburg Gate. In addition, the program on the main stage at Brandenburg Gate will be interpreted into sign language. The BVG bus for people with mobility impairments will also be available. Yes. We will provide two viewing platforms along the demontsration route for wheelchair users,
both of which are located next to accessible restrooms.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Potsdamer Platz platform \u2013 the entire parade passes by this location.
\u25cf Brandenburg Gate platform \u2013 most speeches, performances, and live music will take place here.<\/p>\n

Our wheelchair viewing platforms are equipped with sun protection. However, we recommend
bringing or wearing appropriate weather protection (for both rain and sun), as well as bringing
food and non-alcoholic drinks.<\/p>\n

Please note that the surrounding areas are expected to be very crowded with pedestrians. The
parade floats will also be equipped with sound and lighting systems.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, no. Spaces are available only on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to capacity. Each platform can accommodate approximately six wheelchair users and one accompanying person each. If you have an urgent medical emergency, please contact the nearest volunteer or staff member. They will assist you as best as possible. Staff members and volunteers wear CSD T-shirts. This year, there will once again be a bus operated in cooperation with BVG. The bus is accessible via a ramp and serves as transportation, a retreat space, and a quiet area for people who want to participate in the CSD but cannot manage the full route on foot.<\/span>

<\/span>The shared goal is to practically address the needs of older queer people and people with mobility impairments. This provides an opportunity for people who otherwise could not attend the CSD to be part of the event. No advance registration is required; seats are available only subject to availability.<\/span>

Berlin CSD aims to be a place of diversity, respect, and solidarity for everyone. At the same time, we are aware that harassment, discrimination, boundary violations, violence, or sexualized violence can occur at large-scale events\u2014and particularly in the context of a demonstration.<\/p>\n

The Awareness-Team<\/strong><\/h3>\n

An awareness team is available as a first point of contact throughout the Berlin CSD. Team members provide support to individuals who feel uncomfortable, need assistance, or have experienced or witnessed transgressive behavior. The awareness team listens, accompanies those affected, connects them with further support services if needed, and helps find individual solutions.<\/p>\n
