Erwin Olaf (1959\u20132023) is one of the most important Dutch photographers. He was an exceptional artist whose photographic work not only shines aesthetically, but also consistently provokes, moves and raises awareness on a social level. <\/p>\n
His early works in the 1980s focused on the gay emancipation movement and played a pioneering role in the struggle for the visibility and acceptance of queer lifestyles. <\/p>\n
