Dominatrix Tapas is a 2 hour sampling session of the fundamentals of bondage, impact play, torture, pleasure, safety, psychology, and consent. We will begin by going over consent and pre-negotiation, as well as safety and the psychology of subspace. During sex that involves psychological power dynamics or physical pain play, the brain and body release a particularly strong cocktail of hormones and neurotransmitters that alter the brain, body, and sensory experience. I will explain the psychological and somatic effects of cortisol, epinephrine, dopamine, oxytocin, endogenous opioids, and endorphins – with particular focus on the implications this has for consent and psychological manipulation.
To get started you will learn some quick and easy single-column and double-column shibari ties so that you can have control from which to play. Ropes will be provided for practice, and all the ties can be practiced on either a partner or on yourself solo. Next you will be taught the basics of breath play and carotid artery choking (blood choke). You will get an introduction to consensual torture with a demonstration of different types of nipple clamps, pinwheels, and other torture devices. There will be a demonstration of proper barehanded spanking technique, riding crops, and flogger. You will practice some spanking and nipple clamps yourself. The final demonstration will be on how to use a hitachi magic wand. Lastly we will go over aftercare for both bottoms and tops.
