ARTE Sommerkino am Kulturforum: Lesbian Space Princess

Since 2007, the ARTE Summer Cinema at the Kulturforum has been offering open-air movie screenings on balmy summer evenings. Between the Philharmonie and the Neue Nationalgalerie, a giant screen glows, showing the highlights of the past movie season. The Potsdamer Platz skyline lights up in the distance, and a multitude of lounge chairs stand invitingly ready – not a dream, but real open-air movie bliss right here and now.

To celebrate Pride Month, we are screening the queer sci-fi comedy LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS, which won the Teddy Award at the 2025 Berlinale.

A space princess is thrust out of her sheltered life and into a galactic quest to save her bounty hunter ex-girlfriend from the Straight White Maliens.
