Stage Program: Monrose as Surprise Support Act at the Closing Rally
Reunion exclusively on Germany’s queerest stage!
It will be emotional, loud, and unforgettable: this year’s Christopher Street Day Berlin promises a real highlight for participants. On Saturday evening, Monrose will perform as a support act on our stage, celebrating their first official reunion appearance in over ten years!
Bahar Kizil and Senna Gammour – two-thirds of the successful pop band – are coming spontaneously and wholeheartedly to send a powerful message for visibility, diversity, and solidarity with us.
Without a big show, without dancers, not because they are not used to it, but because they are doing it short-term, clear, and direct for us. Their support is a statement: “Never again silent” is not only our motto; it has become theirs as well.

SOUL OF STONEWALL AWARD 2025
New this year: The Soul of Stonewall Award will be awarded to only one organization/initiative. By focusing on a single recipient, Berliner CSD e. V. aims for greater reach and stronger impact.
This year, the campaign “Never Quiet Again” by Woman Life Freedom will be honored.
The laudation will be delivered by: Fraence Grethe
Recipients of the award are the initiators of Woman Life Freedom:
Unity Neda Paiabandi and Bonyad Bastanfar
Woman Life Freedom Unity is an initiative that clearly opposes discrimination and advocates for a just, diverse society. It stands for solidarity, human dignity, and the courage to stand together for freedom and equality. Their name is their program—and their message is unmistakable.
