This event will be held in German.
Just like our society, the queer community is getting older and older. And so questions about (queer) ageing are becoming more and more topical.
Even though the acceptance of queer people in society has increasingly improved in recent decades, many people still ask themselves the question: Who can I turn to if I need support or care as a queer person? What services are actually available?
During Pride Month, we cordially invite you to an information café and tour at the Immanuel Seniorenzentrum Schöneberg:
When: 23.07.2024
Time: 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm
Where: Immanuel Seniorenzentrum Schöneberg, Hauptstraße 121 A, 10827 Berlin
Over coffee and cake, you can meet representatives of queer organizations who will present their diverse leisure activities and talk to representatives of various queer-sensitive outpatient, semi-stationary or fully stationary care services. We will inform you about existing support services, care structures and (planned) housing projects. We will also be happy to answer questions about financing options via care insurance. Or you can use the day to explore the Immanuel Seniorenzentrum Schöneberg as a place of living diversity without obligation.
Together with employees of the lesbian initiative Rat und Tat (RuT), the social center Trans Inter Queer (TRIQ), the care services Cura Domo and Violett, the gay counseling Berlin and the Ricam Hospice, we look forward to welcoming you to the senior center and will be happy to answer your questions.
For interested professionals, we are also happy to answer questions about the certification process for diversity as a place to live.
