Reading & Talk Max Appenroth “Queer through the rainbow”
Four coming-outs in one person? Yes, that is possible and describes the story of Ava, who was caught making out with a classmate at the age of 13 and was subsequently outed as a lesbian in front of the whole school. What follows is exclusion and bullying, but also further coming-outs and a new name.
Max Appenroth’s first novel with autobiographical features takes readers on an exciting journey through diversity. Questions can be asked after the reading.

About the author: Max Appenroth is a queer trans activist, diversity consultant, public speaker, PhD public health expert, moderator and author who is a little multi-talented. The author has published several books – including a children’s book “Egal was sich auch ändert, das Herz bleibt genau dasselbe” and an autobiographical novel called “Queer durch den Regenbogen”.
