Commemoration of the LGBTI* persecuted and murdered under National Socialism

January 27, 2022 is the day of remembrance of the victims of National Socialism. The occasion is the 77th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

On this day, the Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the Lesbian and Gay Association (LSVD) Berlin-Brandenburg invite you to commemorate the LGBTI* persecuted and murdered under National Socialism.

As part of a silent commemoration, a wreath-laying ceremony will take place at 12:15 p.m. at the memorial for homosexuals persecuted under National Socialism. Due to the pandemic, there will be no speeches this year. To avoid larger gatherings, all people are called upon to lay flowers and wreaths individually during the day.
