Pfizer is an inclusion partner for Berlin CSD.

Once again this year, Pfizer is supporting Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Berlin—specifically by sponsoring accessible viewing platforms for wheelchair users at Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate. After all, inclusion often begins with practical considerations: whether people can actually see and fully experience an event. This is precisely where we aim to make a difference, helping to ensure that as many people as possible can actively participate in the CSD celebrations—regardless of physical abilities.

Equity—or equality of opportunity—is one of our core corporate values. For us, this means breaking down barriers and creating equal opportunities for health and social inclusion for everyone, regardless of age, gender, background, religion, sexual orientation, life circumstances, or physical abilities.

As a research-based pharmaceutical company, we work on medical innovations and
strive to ensure people receive the best possible care. Yet we also know that
health and social inclusion do not emerge solely in the laboratory or
consulting room; they require strong partnerships, inclusive structures, and
commitment extending far beyond the healthcare sector. For us, CSD is a vital
platform for making precisely this visible.

Our support for CSD is part of our broader social commitment to an
open, diverse, and inclusive society. For us, diversity and inclusion are not
secondary matters but essential prerequisites for innovation, progress, and
sustainable development—within the company and in society at large.

This commitment is also reflected internally: for ten years, we have been a PROUT
Employer. Together with the PROUT AT WORK Foundation, we work to strengthen equal opportunities for queer individuals within the company. This effort is driven by our OPEN network and by many allies—colleagues who take a stand,
assume responsibility, and help ensure that diversity, safety, and a sense of belonging are tangible parts of our everyday work life.

Our social commitment extends beyond CSD: together with partners,
we champion health equity, support underrepresented
and particularly vulnerable groups, and advocate for education, social
cohesion, and sustainable action.

We look forward to supporting CSD again in 2026—and thereby making a small but
tangible contribution toward enabling as many people as possible to participate actively.
