In 2024 the CSD in Berlin will be celebrated for the 46th time!

As you may know, the Berlin CSD e.V. association organizes the Berlin Pride March every year (with a pandemic exception in 2020) for Christopher Street Day with a lot of volunteer work. Dozens of people are already working on CSD 2022 for the sheer love of it and in the weeks leading up to the demonstration and on the day itself, hundreds more join them.

With such a large event, however, there are still high costs for which our association must pay. To be able to cover these, we are not only looking for advertising partners and sponsorships, but also need the support of the queer communities. For this purpose, we have now started a GoFundMe campaign.

Everyone should only give what they can give. Some of you can spend more without getting into trouble, while many others can only just manage financially. We know that.

At the Berlin CSD we come together to celebrate the freedom and acceptance we enjoy here. We go out on the streets for an ever more beautifully diversifying community and for global solidarity, this year especially with the queer people who had to flee their homeland, from Ukraine and elsewhere.

Because we need your support to finance one of the biggest LGBTTIQA* demonstrations in Germany – your Berlin CSD | Berlin Pride – we appreciate every donation. That way, we can continue to walk the streets together for LGBTTIQA* rights.

As an association, we depend on the entire community and their supporters to pitch in financially – from small donations to large sponsorship amounts – every contribution helps. For a demonstration of this size, as it is the CSD Berlin, there are unfortunately also high costs. With your donations for technology, security, GEMA fees, catering, stages, CSD cars, office supplies, toilets, information booths, administration, banners, sign language interpreters and much more, the CSD Berlin will be a success!

In addition, we set up a donation account in cooperation with the Protestant Church Berlin and can thus also issue you a donation receipt. With the account description “Spenden Verein CSD e.V.” all donations go to the association. Thanks to Dr. Bertold Höcker, Superintendent, Evangelical Church District Berlin Stadtmitte, for his support.

You want more culture, more politics, more diversity at CSD Berlin? You want to actively participate or be a “silent” supporter? Then join the association! Every year, the Berlin CSD e.V. organizes one of the largest and most influential political human rights demonstrations of LGBTTIQ* in Europe.

Above all, our success depends on as many people as possible supporting our association’s work. Anyone can become a member. Membership costs 5 Euro/month (reduced 2,50 EUR/month) for individuals and 10 Euro/month for legal entities (associations, organizations, companies).

It entitles you to vote at the general meeting and thus also to actively influence our political work. And for our members there is a relaxing “thank you” every year at the CSD FINALE.
