„How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you“ – Rudi Kaur
Well, easier said than done! In times where body positivity and inclusiveness are becoming occupied by mainstream media and advertisements, it seems like we can put self-love on like a pukllover or spread it on with a lotion. But the reality is a bit more complicated – though we might encourage and compliment others for their looks, body and appearances – we often are our own hardest judge, and rather un-friendly to ourselves and our bodies.
Queer bodies carry special kind of pains, judgements and expectations – but also tremendous amounts of power and beauty! In this somatic workshop, using body based approaches for self-discovery and inquiry, we dive into the inner by connecting to our core and use movement, (self)touch and sharing circles to build a deeper connection to our unique gifts and learn to become friends, even at home in our bodies.
This Workshop is for bodies of all ages, origins, genders and ages. Come as you are! Please wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.
Florian is a somatic educator and movement therapist, supporting individuals, groups and institutions for a better understanding of their standing in the world and inhabiting their bodies.
