Homolulu Berlin, the LGBTIQ* bicycle city tour guides you through Berlin on the topic „Berlin invents homosexuality – queer history from 1850-1935“. The tour takes you by bike to historical places and tells about how the queer movement started in 19th century in Berlin. queer history is presented like the world’s first public outing, the world’s first gay activist group, the world’s first sexological institute and we dive into the wild nightlife of the gay and lesbian bars of the Golden 20ies in Schöneberg.
We start at Neue Wache, Unter den Linden 4, the tour takes about 3 hours, ending in Schöneberg at Motzstrasse. Please bring a bike or scooter. Bikes can be rented for 9€ a day by app (callabike “starter”). We bike slowly, no hills. No fee for participation, but tips are welcome.

Homolulu Berlin, die LGBTIQ* Fahrrad-Stadttour führt durch Berlin zum Thema „Berlin erfindet die Homosexualität – queere Geschichte von 1850-1935“. Die Tour führt mit dem Fahrrad zu historischen Orten und erzählt, wie die Queer-Bewegung im 19. Jahrhundert in Berlin begann. Es wird queere Geschichte präsentiert wie das weltweit erste öffentliche Outing, die weltweit erste schwule Aktivistengruppe, das weltweit erste Institut für Sexualwissenschaft und wir tauchen ein in das wilde Nachtleben der schwulen und lesbischen Bars der Goldenen 20er Jahre in Schöneberg.
Wir starten an der Neuen Wache, Unter den Linden 4, die Tour dauert ca. 3 Stunden und endet in Schöneberg in der Motzstraße. Bitte bring ein Fahrrad oder einen Scooter mit. Fahrräder können für 9€ pro Tag per App (callabike „starter“) gemietet werden. Wir radeln langsam, ohne Steigungen.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, aber Trinkgelder sind willkommen.
